Applied Electromagnetism

The Applied Electromagnetics group activity is focused on a wide spectrum of applications that involve the exploitation of electromagnetic waves. The main research topics include:

  • Indoor radiolocalization techniques Chipless RFID and sensors
  • Electromagnetic absorbers and radomes RF Coils for Magnetic Resonance

  • Integrated multiband antennas for vehicular communications
  • Antennas and propagation for wearable communication systems

The Applied Electromagnetics group is actively involved in national and international projects (such as Emergent and Iread) provides highly specialized support to private companies.
