Intelligent Power Distribution, Infineon, Villach (Austria)

This Talk will introduce the main elements of a power distribution system, discuss challenges, and give an outlook into future generations of modern power distribution systems in the 12V, 24V and 48V domain.
One essential part of the vehicle architecture is its power distribution system. As of today, it is based on a wire harness to transport energy, fuses to protect the wire harness, relays / switches to start and stop the energy flow and ECUs to control energy flows.
