Visiting Fellows are qualified researchers hosted at a Department of the University of Pisa for carrying out scientific research, education, and collaborations with local faculty members, research associates, and PhD students. The Visiting Fellowship can span from 1 to 12 months. Visiting Fellows are nominated through an application process or by invitation. Foreign researchers with suitable qualification who want to apply for Visiting Fellow at the Department of Information Engineering (DII) are expected to fill in and submit Form A, attaching their curriculum vitae and a copy of their ID (or passport, in the case of a non-EU citizen). A faculty member from DII must be indicated as the local contact person.

Faculty members at DII who want to propose a qualified foreign researcher as a Visiting Fellow must fill in and submit Form B, attaching the researcher's curriculum vitae and a copy of his/her ID (or passport, in the case of a non-EU citizen).

Form A/B, along with the attached documents, must be submitted (as a single PDF file) by e-mail to cai@dii.unipi.it, NO LATER than November 15, 2020.
